Former Forester team captain Sam Kotler '09, a running back, was the most recent Forester honored by JSR.
"This is a great honor for Ari. I am please that he received this recognition. Had he played an additional year of football, there is no doubt that he would have been on a radar of a number of other award lists. He had a truly fantastic season, and was one of the most surprisingly successful players that I have ever coached. His improvement from spring ball to the start of the season was amazing," said Coach Catanzaro.
