Foresters Selected for AXA Institute!

Over the Christmas Holiday, Senior Brendan Power and Junior Pat McDonaugh were invited to participate an exclusive Financial Institute with AXA Financial.

Junior Pat McDonaugh presents at the AXA Financial Institute.

The Foresters represented the team and the College extremely well. At the institute, the players were part of an in-depth look at the workings of the financial services industry, key points about the transition from student to employee, and they then participated in an in-house "Shark Tank" presentation.

"Brendan and Pat were both incredibly involved in the planning as well as the presentation. Both were REALLY impressive in their presentations as well,"said Warren Suess, Vice President Central Region for AXA Advisors.

Brendan's team won the "Shark Tank" competition, and had this to say,"It was a tremendous experience. We learned a lot. Working with students from other colleges showed me how prepared we were for this setting. Lake Forest and the Forester Game Plan really helped separate Pat and I."

Junior Tim Finucane attended the AXA Summer Institute, and had this to say, "The institute was a great talking point for me when I interviewed for internships. I was able to explain not only what we did, our thought process, but also what we would have done different if given another chance. I am grateful that I had that experience."
