The coaching staff also announced their players of the game for the Beloit Game:
Offensive Player of the Week: Senior RB Joey Valdivia, Grayslake, IL
Joey recorded the 3rd highest single game rushing total in school history at 295 yards. Valdivia also had 36 yards receiving for a total of 331 total yards from scrimmage and 3 TDs.

HM: The Forester Offensive line paved the way for 330 Net Yards Rushing, and helped keep QB Jagan Cleary off of his back in pass protection. Starters: LT: Andrew Johnson, LG: Daniel Solano, C: Ethan Sheirer, RG: Jake Burkard, RT: Tommy Steen.
Defensive Player of the Week: Senior LB Michael Cole, Scottsdale, AZ
Michael returned from injury to start off the 2017 season right. He had 11 Tackles, 1 TFL, a Fumble Recovery, and six QB hurries on the day.

Lineman of the Week: Senior DL Hector Mendoza, Oswego, IL
Hector made a successful transition from LB to DL. In his first start he recorded 10 Tackles, 2 Sacks, and 3 TFLs.

Honorable Mention Lineman of the Week: Sophomore DL, JW Windsor, Chandler, AZ
JW made a memorable Forester Football debut with 9 Tackles including 3 TFL's.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Senior DB, RJ Pompey, Gurnee, IL
Pompey blocked a punt, and recorded six pancake blocks for the Forester Kickoff and Punt Return Teams.

Scout Team Player of the Week: Freshman WR, Trysten Reeder, Phoenix, AZ
Reeder, did such a great job on scout team throughout the week, that he earned a starting nod on the Forester Punt Block team in his first college game.
