GRADUATION WEEKEND

The 132nd Commencement in the history of Lake Forest College took place this past weekend. Thirteen senior football players received their degrees. In addition to their degrees, there were a number of other awards garnered by the Forester Football Men. At the annual awards convocation, the Foresters were well represented, and saw four different team members awarded five of the schools highest honors.

The following list notes some of the academic accomplishments of the Foresters that were honored this past weekend:

Noah Dion, winner of the Edward H. Oppenheimer Memorial Prize (given to the senior man and woman who contributed the most to the College community)

Jaron Eanes, winner of the Nicholas J. Wasylik Senior Athletic Award (given to a graduating senior who best emulates the drive, determination, and positive outgoing attitude demonstrated by former athletic director and coach Nick Wasylik)

Ryan Glowacz, winner of the Senior Prize in Education.

Rick Storkan, winner of the Richard W. Hantke Award in History. Storkan also won the Solly A. Hartzo Award in Politics.


Both Glowacz and Storkan were both honored for their induction into the Lake Forest Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.

Donovan Baldridge and Dan Carter were both honored for their inducation into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the National Economics Honor Society.

Glowacz added an induction into the Kappa Delta Pi honor society for Education.
